This didn't turn out quite the way I hoped (gotta invest in higher quality ballpoint if I'm gonna use markers without things bleeding and discolouring) but had a lot of fun laying it out.
I use Pentel fine line 0.1, 0.3, 0.5 and 0.7, and haven't run into any bleeding. Ditto for the new Sharpie fine lines I recently discovered. The tone fill looks perfect, water colour marker?

Thx for the pen tips (pun intended). Was using a regular Bic ballpoint and Letraset Promarkers. Think there's solvent in the marker so they mix better but the ballpoint ink was not happy about that.
